This is mainly due to the fact that they are purposely available in only a limited number, making them more valuable to the collector. However, they are still the less expensive alternative to purchasing the original work of art.

A lithograph poster is most often printed using standard lithograph procedures. However, many artists will add some finishing touches by hand, which can further escalate the price. Finding these posters is most easily done through high-end print retailers, art galleries, or from the artists directly.
