Original Vintage Posters

Original vintage posters are those that were made for the original promotion of a film or concert, or were from the first printing of a series. These posters can often be exceptionally hard to find, especially in good condition. And when one can find them, they are almost always expensive.

Original vintage posters can be found in numerous categories, ranging from travel and movie posters to liquor advertisements. Before the advent of computer generated graphics, these posters were often created by well-known artists and as such are considered by many to be great examples of pop art. And while prints of these posters can be purchased, the originals are what true collectors are looking for.

Buying original vintage posters is not normally cheap. Depending on the particular poster, and the artist that created it, these can often range as high as several thousand dollars. This is especially true if the poster is in pristine condition.
